Does anyone know some good ways to advertise for very little cost? I've tried flyers, circle of friends etc.

What can I do next?

Have you heard of "Bandit Signs" They are the sturdy cardboard on a wire base things that people put out on medians and at the corner over the weekend then pull them up before Monday code enforcement pulls them up? They are very effective, and inexpensive. If you have a website, You can add yourself to google and yahoo search pretty easily too. I believe it's free.

It depends on what you are trying to advertise.

If you are trying to recruit and sell your MLM...not so much.

We do a lot of networking and are involved in organizations that deal directly with our line of work. We are both on LinkedN as well.

I know that some schools sell advertising for the directories, I was involved in the making and publication of the football program as a fundraiser for cheerleaders this past year. Ads were very reasonably priced and we had a great success with it. The old stand by... WORD OF MOUTH is fantastic.

Costco has a rack where members can put their business cards at no cost.
Also, you can get a lot of free business cards and other advertising tools from Vista Print.

Craigslist, flyers you distribute by hitting the pavement, send emails to your friends to see if they know of someone in need of your service and word of mouth!
