There is a great little second hand store in Allen on Greenville called The Cotton Closet. I have seen some nice things there although you never know what you will find. Good Luck!
I just bought a huge amount of new suits at Sears over the last few months. Go thru the clearence racks. Many were Under $10 each. Nothing wrong with them. I just keep going thru the racks once a week. I almost always walk out with 1 or 2 major bargains. These are $80 and $90 pant suits and business suits. I actually bought a duplicate of one in a 16 (elastic waistband). If your in the Frisco area I will just give it to you. I lost the receipt and its too much hassle to try and return something I paid $5 for.

I was looking at craigslist.com and found this on the free category. It was bags of size 12-14-16 clothes both casual and business. Said there was some suits. Good luck.
L.,
I have a bunch of clothes that are in the 20-22 size range. They are all from Lane Bryant, Avenue, Macy's ect. I wouldn't say they are business clothes -- but I am willing to give them to you. All you have to do is pick them up from my house in SW McKinney -- really close to Frisco. If your interested let me know via email

Crissa' Closet at Custer and Parker in Plano is great. They sell nice secondhand clothing, many in plus size. Also, all $ they make goes to Hope's Door, a battered women's shelter.
I wear those sizes, but I don't typically shop for business clothes at second hand stores. I know of some people who do and here's what they suggest:
- New St. Vincent de Paul thrift store on Northwest Highway next to Bachman Lake (this store is HUGE - an old warehouse)
- Clotheshorse Anonymous (near Preston & Royal or Preston & Forest in North Dallas - I don't know what sizes they typically carry, but you can always ask)
You might also try Lane Bryant outlets (Allen or Grapevine Mills). The Lane Bryant in Irving Mall is closing in August and I've been getting postcards in the mail about big sales there. I've had some luck at Dress Barn too and they sometimes have big sales. Cato and Avenue can also have somewhat inexpensive business clothes - just depends on the season. I think a lot of retailers are suffering this season, so it wouldn't surprise me if they start having big sales. Walmart has had some nice stuff too, lately, which surprised me.
This is a good place...See the website. The site is a little outdated. They have a new owner, but I've sold clothes and bought clothes there. They are very picky when I've sold clothes which is a good thing when I'm buying things.
Hey L.!
I've probably got a few things you might want to take a look at. We're in the process of moving and I think I know I have at least two business suits that are an 18W. I'll have to take a look and see what all I have if you think you are interested my email address is ____@____.com are really nice but I just don't need them anymore. I've got a bunch of casual clothes too in various sizes that I was going to take to a consignment shop.
Let me know! Thanks!
