We would like to get my mother in law some new clothes for Christmas. We want to get her some casual clothes. She is a plus sized petite, any recommendations as to where I should shop for her?
We shop for my plus-sized Grandma at Catherine's and just love it! They have pretty clothes, and all different sizes. They even have a good sale every now and then!!
Talbot's also has a nice selection of petite plus sizes. They also have an outlet on Round Grove Road near 35E in Lewisville. Good luck.
Petite Sophisticate, Lane Bryant and believe it or not, I know that you may want nicer, but for casual(jeans, khakis etc.) Walmart has plus size petite stuff. I know all of this because of my sweet Momma!

I am a plus sized petite young gramma and i LOVE Catherines. It has great sales and I just love their clothes! My kids give me a gift card to Catherines for my birthday and I love that too!
Try the various Cato's. They have a side for smaller, younger girls, (teens), and another side for plus sized women. Lots of bigger sizes, in petite, reasonable prices, and good sale racks. And many of the choices are somewhat hip and cool-looking, even for the ones aimed at older women.
