Mercer Island pool has water aerobics - Mary Whyat pool I think is the name of it. I also highly recommend prenatal yoga classes!
Hi Mamas,
When I was pregnant with my now 2-1/2 year old, I carried her straight out in front. It led to a lot of lower back discomfort. We lived in Ohio at the time, and the hospital we used offered water aerobics classes in coordination with one of the local health clubs. The fee was very reasonable, and I LOVED the way being in the water took pressure off of my back and hips. I used to joke that I felt taller after each class.
Now, I'm pregnant with my 2nd, and we live in Bellevue. I'll be delivering at Overlake, and it doesn't appear as though they have a similar program. Does anyone know of a place that offers water classes that don't require gym/pool membership? (Pro Club offers them, but the cost is too high for us.) I'd really like to get in the water again.
Thanks!

not sure if they have aerobics, but you could try the Issaquah public pool (or other public pools in the area) - you pay each time you go, but it is a small fee.
Try the WMCA or WWCA pools. They are inexpensive and clean. Also look in to the King County pools.
I did a swimming class with my toddler. She was learning to swim, but it got me in the water each week. :)
We did ours through Waterbabies at First Street Fitness.
