Hi! I am a new stay-at-home mommy in the west Akron area and was hoping to find a fun moms group. I have a 2 year old boy with a lot of energy and a 6 month old baby boy. We are always looking to do fun activities, especially during these cold winter months!
I'm over that direction, have 2 boys who are 3 and a 19 month old daughter. I'm atill teaching though, but I could do stuff on weekends possibly...

Hi Jennifer, my name is A. and I have two kids, ages 3 Julia, and 13 months, Noah. I live in Norton, and SAHM during the week, work as a nurse on the weekend. I come from a big family of teachers.
I am currently in a great group, AC_Moms on yahoo. You can check out the Akron-Canton SAHM group, there is a message board, and we post activities to do with the kids, as well as Mom's night out. Here's the website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AC_Moms. You just click on join the group, follow the directions, and then once on the message board, you can introduce yourself to the group. They are a great group of gals and kids. The only rule is no drama and you must attend a public meeting before you can attend a private event. We have monthly meetings for the kids, either in Akron or Canton, usually CEC, or McDonalds in the winter, and parks in the summer. The kids have fun, and we get out a little.
