yes, we have two. two different brands. neither is video, just audio. One has some interference from time to time, but I don't think it's because of the other monitor.
We need to add another baby monitor for our second child. Do they make units that monitor two rooms or do we need buy a separate unit? Will the signals interfere with each other. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

We really like our Summer Infant monitor. We have two cameras and one receiving unit that can switch channels between the two. So, we can't see both rooms at the same time, but can easily switch back and forth between the two.
I have a Greco one that is for Two rooms.u can set it for one room or it will switch back and forth between rooms
I had 2 seperate monitors for my 2 kids. I opted for the Sony brand cause they had a ton of frequency channels to get rid of the issue of interference.
Hi L.-
I wish you well in your quest...
BUT...many years ago, I tried 2 monitors in the house. All I got was news of 'andre' (????) and his apparent 'lack' of potty training success...lol
Maybe the 'channels' available now are better...don't know.
I also never figured out who 'andre' was...or if he was successful with respect to 'pottying'...
Best luck!

Kristen B is right about summer infant. We had the Summer infant Slim and secure and you can use up to 4 cameras at a time. It is a video monitor, which is more pricey, but I am not sure if they make regular monitor like that. I highly recommend the slim and secure monitor!
Two monitors are no problem, so long as at least one has multiple channels. We've got two in my house, and two in each of the grandparents houses, and all are different brands and all work fine. I don't remember the brand names of the ones in the grandparents' homes, but we have Sony Baby Call in ours.
I think Summer Infant makes a monitor that can toggle between up to 4 different cameras. I'm not sure how that would work in terms of monitoring sound in 2 different rooms though??
We've got 2 angelcare monitors and it works well. You can have them on separate channels.
I'm old school....no monitors at all other than us(but my daughter is grown)!! I bet they have it now though. Good luck!
No real answer for you, but I was in Target today and was amazed that in 6 years monitors have changed. They now look like iPod's. When my little one was brand new, they looked like small black & white TV's and the reception stunk if you went too far in the house.
