N.T.
This is called a mesio-dens, meaning tooth between two other teeth, it should be examined by a dentist and most probably removed, because it will prevent the front teeth from coming in correctly.
My 11-month-old son has a something that looks like a little tooth between his two front teeth, which have a gap between them. What is this? Should I be concerned?
Thanks for your help! At their 12-month doctor's visit, the doctor said it was not extra teeth, just gums, and it was perfectly normal. It's actually gone down some since then and looks more "normal". Thanks again!

It could be a mesiodens. Does it actually look like a tooth coming through the gum tissue? Sometimes the gums between those two front teeth can look very white, which is normal.
Get connected to a great pediatric dentist and this mystery will be solved. K..
Honestly, I would consult the pediatrician. Maybe he/she will send you to a pediatric dentist. Someone who hasn't seen your baby couldn't tell you what it is, he needs a medical examination. Good luck.
