This may sound odd, but I got great use out of those long, ribbed tank tops that you can buy at gap and old navy etc. First they covered any "bits" that my old, pre-pregnancy t-shirts weren't covering (which meant I could wear them again) and secondly - they were really handy for feeding. I'd pull the t-shirt up on one side and have the tank top beneath (slightly pulled down) - and it worked great! Also saved me buying a bunch of nursing tops I didn't really like or need and I could wear my old stuff (which I did like!). Just a suggestion.....
