We have this same problem. I use the Huggies NiteTime pullups. They work really well. We rarely have accidents at night, but I alse try and limit fluids after 7 pm.
My son is 3 and now potty trained (yea me) except for night time. The size 5 diapers I put him in at night are just NOT doing the trick (meaning I've done laundry EVERY FREAKIN DAY this week b/c he's peed through his sheets/mattress pad cover thing)... What do you guys recommend me getting that will absorb enough, not leak and "keep it in his pants" (so to speak.. ha ha) so that he's not soaking wet in the morning and I'm not wearing out my new washer on twin sized sheets every day!
:) Size 6 diapers? Good Nites? I hadn't used either YET but am going to the store in a little while and would love someone else's input.

My son is almost three and potty trained too. The only pull up that works for us is the Pampers FEEL & LEARN. He wears the size 5.
good nite will not leak if he pees alot at night
good luck :)
My son is 9 years old and still wets the bed. Due to his size the only option for us is Good Nites, but they work very well. Before he was so big, we used Pull-ups but it seemed like he would wake up in a wet bed anyway with them (he urinates alot at night, when he does have an accident). I do however only use Good Nites when he is sleeping away from home. I do laundry every day (well, every day he wakes up wet which is about every other day or so) and have a waterproof vinyl casing around his mattress. This way he has to take responsibilty for changing his sheets and taking a shower. I did not stop using the Pull-ups/Good Nites regularly until he was about 5 though. That may be too much information, but I hope it helps.
We used Goodnites for our daughter, since the size five Pull Ups were a little too snug for her.
Have you considered cloth diapers? We use them and I used them on my 3 yr old son. It was actually a training pant cloth diaper. I got it at Babies Bottoms and More in Plano on 15th. (Babiesbottomsandmore.com) Awesome diaper! Talk about absorbent. It did the trick until his bladder grew enough to allow him to hold it all night. Another thing we did was wake him up right before we went to bed (around 10:30-11) and walk him to the toilet for one last trip. He was always so drowsy (Always!) he would go right back to bed...especially with the lights and voices kept low. That always got him through the night dry. Hope this helps you. Hang in there.
We use the pullups "nite time" and have yet to pee out them. We acctually started using them instead of diapers before we potty trained those diapers wouldn't last 2 minutes. Good luck!
I use Wal-Mart's Parents Choice size 6 for my 4 and 5 year-old boys, and they work great. We tried a few brands before we went with that one.
