I've recently joined Pinterest (it's free, just create a log-in and password) and they have TONS of ideas in the food/recipe category with nice pictures and easy recipes that should help but here are a few suggestions that may go over well:
1. cream cheese stuffed olives (black or green)
2. cinnamon pita chips with fresh fruit salsa
3. meatballs
4. crabbed stuff wontons
5. dark chocolate dipped fruits

hope this helps!

Pinterest is great for this stuff!

Just some ideas...
- Avoid too many dips. Women like "finger food" that isn't messy and doesn't require you to carry around a plate all afternoon.
- Keep it light and simple. Pick 5 or 6 really elegant items and then supplement with dishes of mixed nuts, gourmet popcorn, fruit tower, etc.
- Cheese tray with gourmet cheeses and cured meats

One of the cutest ideas I have seen (and done) is to order unglazed donut holes from your local donut shop. Cut them in (almost) half and then fill with a small amount of chicken salad (Pioneer Woman has a great recipe - Patsy's Chicken Salad). They are great for finger food and are the perfect size to pop in your mouth. Good luck!
