I am on the search for a bunk bed. It never hurts to ask... but does anyone know of someone who is looking to sell theirs? I have been on the internet and search high and low...
Just thought I would try a different avenue.
Thank you!
T.

T.,
My roommate has grey metal ones that she is looking to sell. She is asking between $60 and $100 with the mattresses. I f you're intersted, let me know and we'll touch base. I live by the Central Library, so fairly close to you.

As a mother of three boys, I wouldn't recommend bunk beds. Yes, they save space, but they are hard to make beds unless you use just comforters only. Whenever my boys slept on the top, they tended to play with the ceiling, causing bits to fall on the bed. If your ceiling is cathedral-like, I guess you probably won't have any problem. We had bunk beds for a short time before we decided to sell it. We just have twin beds in the boys' room which is definitely much easier on us!

If you insist on having bunk beds, then www.craiglist.com is the place to check out.

Try going to Craigslist.com. If you have never been on it before you would want to the state and then go to the furniture section. I see bunk beds on there from time to time

check on Craigslist.com There are always new items being added daily. We buy a lot of stuff on there and also has a free item section and have got some good stuff free as well.
Also Nebraska Furniture Mart has some nice kid bunk bed sets and has no interest programs where you pay no interest for a year or more depending on their special for the month. Their website is www.nfm.com if you want to look at their items.

Hi, T.. We are looking to sell my son's bunkbed and dresser that goes with it. We got it 5 years ago from Rhodes. It is a bunk bed, desk, hideout, and trundle all in one. It also has 5 drawers. We have a matching dresser with mirror and corkboard also. We are asking $500 for it all. The mattresses are included. We should still have the paperwork that goes with it as well. It is an awesome bed, but my son won't sleep in the top bunk, and so the trundle is always pulled out, which takes up twice the space. Let me know if you are interested and we can set up a time for you to come and look at it. Thanks.

Have you asked on Freecycle? maybe someone would want to give some away, and even if they're not ideal, they may let you know if you really want some or not!

We found ours on Craigslist for $450. It's solid wood, has the dresser on one end, desk on the other. It also came with the free standing dresser with mirror, and a toy box. I bought a similar one new for my other son and it was $1000 from www.pinecrafer.com which is also great price IMO but I couldn't beat the $450 used. So I was just watch and eventualy you find what you are looking for.
