My daughter bought a cake at BJ's in Wallingford for her baby shower. It was so good. I know it's kind of far but I don't know if there's BJ near your area?

Congrats on your little one's first birthday & baptism. If you like ice cream, there's a place called Praline's in Southington that makes great ice cream cakes. If you take a left out of the Lowes/Kohls plaza, they're down the hill on the right. Happy celebrating!

I've always gotten my kids cakes at the PriceChoppers in Bristol and people rave about them. Plus your child's 1st b-day cake is free if you sign up for the baby rewards program.

Sweet Maria's in Waterbury is the best. It is near the mall.
In Meriden, the stone house is really good as well.
