I had some candles lit last night that leaked onto the carpet in three different area's. The carpet is only a few months old and I don't know how to get it out because the wax is dry and hard. What do I do to get it out please?

I wouldn't pay for any products because you would be wasting money. All you need is a towel, paper towel, parchment paper or something similar. Place over the wax and iron over the towel (or whatever you're using). Make sure you move it every so often so you aren't just reheating what you pulled up to the towel if that makes sense. I've done it plenty of times. There should be no discoloration or residue left behind. Good luck!
i removed the large pieces by and and did what Misty G did. put a towel over it and put a iron over it. it melts and the towel soaks it up. just use a towel you dont care if it messes up.

My mother-in-law used the ice, scrape, then iron/bag combination to remove wax from her rug. I have heard several different versions of what to use with the iron - paper towels, non-printed brown paper grocery bags, clean and damp terry cloth towels. Good luck!
I've heard that if you heat an iron and place a towel over the dried wax, then iron it the heat re-melts the wax and you can get it out with the towel and whatever carpet cleaner you have.
If there is discolorization after you try the steps below, Melaleuca makes a great product that will take out just about anything. My house recently flooded and the insurance adjustor said that nothing takes out furniture stain. I decided to try my Sol U Mel. It worked.
