I keep hearing these radio advertisements for a product called Celtrixa for reducing if not eliminating strtch marks. It sounds great if it actually works...but is it a scam? Has anyone tried Celtrixa before or know some one that has? If so what was the outcome?
I have not heard of this product but if you find something that works I would love to know also. I have horrible strech marks and my sisters don't. My mom does not either. I know they are not genitic.
I've always heard that the only way to ensure you won't get stretch marks is to be born to a woman who didn't get stretch marks! Every medical report indicates that it is hereditary/genetic. Even the best creams can only be counted on for relief or itchiness and moisturizing (and dryness is not the cause of stretch marks), so I'd take it with a grain of salt and not count on any "miracle" cure. :)

I heard of it. Looked it up on the internet. It seems to only get GREAT reviews from corporate funded conglomerates on their websites, but when it comes to grass root, individual folks like you & me (which is difficult to find) the reviews are always neutral. Examples below ...
1. (Boo) theMomclub.net - I have been using Celtrixa for one month now and the results are the same. (no change) Personally, I think Celtrixa is no more than a scam.
2. (C Smith) theMomclub.net - I have been using celtrixa for 7weeks now. My marks have gotten softer, but no significant results at this time.
3. (far) answers.yahoo.com - yes i have used it for 30 days i dont see any real results and i used it just like it said twice a day, dont waste your money on it maybe they only did test on certain people or certain races that might have an affect on the treatment and how long it takes because mine didnt show any difference
So that's just three ... The "magical" ingredient is supposed to be *Regestril* (http://getridstretchmarks.org). I didn't take the time to look Regestril up yet. But feel free to do so yourself.
It smells "Scammy" to me (not the cream, but this whole marketing approach).

Don't know anything about Celtrixa but vitamin E oil has always been the best for stretch marks of any kind.
