I prefer the organic coton huggies. so soft and easy on the behind for my youngest daughter at 2
I've been using Seventh Generation which are absorbent and cost comparative to other brands but they are a little rough. Anyone find anything better?

We used the Whole Foods brand of chlorine-free diapers. I thought they were a lot more absorbent than Seventh Generation and less expensive as well.
If you do try cloth, www.jilliansdrawers.com has a cloth trial program. You try out a bunch of new, unused diapers for 3 weeks with a deposit of $150. When you return them at 3 weeks, regardless of any stains, they refund all but $10. It's a fantastic way to get to try them out before making the investment.
i use the same ones and am happier then i have been with any other.
Have you thought about using cloth? They are much different these days, and are very easy to use!! There are tons of sites and I have seen many posts on here to help you get started! We started cloth diapering on our 3rd and 4th children. We really like Bumgenuis, Happy Heinies, and FuzzyBunz pockets.
Huggies now has a choice of "no chemical" diapers, I can't remember the name, but have seen coupons for them.
Have a great day!
Have you considered cloth? Modern cloth diapers come in a wide variety and some are velvety soft against baby's booty.
