Clarisonic Face Brush Worth Getting?

Hi Moms,
Do any of you use the Clarisonic brush (or something similar) and swear by it? Wondering if it's worth the price. My skin is good but lack-luster and starting to wrinkle/age. I know nothing is a miracle cure, but do you notice tighter, brighter skin? Do tell! Thanks!

This sounds funny, but I use an electric toothbrush to exfoliate a few times a week and I love it. It's the generic brand from Walmart so it was under $5. I just make sure not to push too hard since the bristles aren't meant for the skin.

Something else I just started using every night and LOVE is 100% pure passion fruit oil. I ordered for around $7 from Natural Bliss' website. I noticed immediately how much smoother and glowy my skin became, my breakouts seriously stopped overnight and my skin is more even-toned and this is only 2 weeks into starting!

I have been using the Clarisonic Mia for about 2 months now and I have noticed a difference in my skin. My skin is softer, smoother looking and seems to be brighter. Now, I can't say for sure if it is from the Clarisonic or just because I've been taking better care of it in general.

About 2 months ago I decided that I really needed to start taking care of my skin (bad habit of not removing makeup before bed) and I bought the clarisonic and new cleaners/moisturizers. So...to be fair, it could be the Clarisonic or it could be the new products. I do notice that after I wash my face with it, my face just seems to glow and appears to have a more "deep down" clean.

I think Oil of Olay has a new cleaner similar to the Clarisonic for quite a bit less, so you might try that one first before investing in the Clarisonic?

I want to get the Clarisonic Opal for the fine lines around your eyes and mouth....I've heard it's fantastic, but I'm putting that one on my Christmas list because it's a little TOO much right now!

I've been using the Clarisonic for the past year. Initially I used it for a month every day, now I use it 2-3 times a week. I noticed it sloughed all the old skin off. I had spots under the skin along my jaw line it it got rid of. At first my skin got worse before better. I use my regular skin cleaning products which are Mary Kay 3in 1 cleanser and their microdermabrasion gel ( usually once a month). I also have a body head I use on my arms and chest. I love that you can use it in the shower otherwise I would forget to use it. My daughter uses it as well she has her own heads we can change over to. It says to change the heads every 3 months but mine I changed at 6-9 months, it probably depends how often you use it.
Overall I'm very happy with it . I love how soft my skin is, and has visible less wrinkles.I still get outbreaks of spots from time to time so just up the amount of times I use it per week.
Good Luck in your decision!

My husband had bad bad bad acne on his neck and back but it was cystic and we'd tried every med out there.. my mom bought me the clarsonic mia for my birthday and he totally took it over and it's pretty much gone.. he still has to use meds on occasion (topical stuff) but it's been amazing at getting the dead skin cells off and all that jazz. The mia is cheaper than the big one and does all the same stuff so go for that one.

I've used the Clairsonic for the past 2 months also. I have noticed that my skin looks brighter, more even, smoother. I bought the MIA, the least expensive model.

I have the Classic version. I don't use their cleansers, just Neutrogena or something similar. I've had it for about 4 months. First was using it 2x per day for about 2 minutes each. Now I'm probably slacking a bit and using for 1 minute about 3-4 times a week. I can't say my skin is tighter, but I do feel like it's clear, smoother, etc. I used to get little clogged pore bumps and don't anymore. I don't feel like I have to worry about masks/exfoliators/etc much anymore. I don't have any experience with the cheaper models, but maybe try one of those and see what you think first. I read lots of reviews first and some people did complain that their skin broke out after using the brush.

I've heard that the one by Oil of Olay works just as well for a fraction of the price (around $29.99). What can also help your lackluster skin is a good skin care routine and I would recommend Votre Vu's skin care because again it's a fraction of the price of comparable high end products. If you'd like to check it out, go to www.votrevu.com/sallybriar and if you have any questions, let me know. After looking, if you'd like a complimentary set of samples, private message me your phone number so we can talk about your skin in more detail. Good luck!
