I would really like to use cloth diapers, but I cannot seem to find a store to buy them from and the shipping cost from buying off the internet is pricey. Plus, I'd really like to actually see the different kinds i.e. pocket diapers, AIO. I bought some prefolded diapers, but I can't seem to find vinyl pants that fit. Does anyone in the Rohnert Park, CA area know of a store that sells them. Or even a good low cost web site.

I was just really happy to find a reference for new designs in cloth diapers. I wish I could remember where I saw the article, it was probably the New York Times, maybe in the Sunday Styles??? Anyway, it sounded like a GREAT leap forward for mothers and babies, and if you do some internet searches I bet you'll find them. Good luck!

I just bought cloth diapers, one size fits all, organic cotton from www.mother-ease.com. They were about $12-14 a piece, but I only need 24 for the life of diapering. My little guy isn't here yet (next month) but I'm really happy with the quality and softness. They got here in about a week. I also have these biodegradable inserts coming called Kushies from kushies.com.
I did a lot of research online and wanted to buy diapers that weren't made in China. These are made in Canada and the quality is excellent. The website also tells you how to care for while going through the diapering process.
I live in Santa Rosa and haven't had any luck finding diapers locally.

There is the Baby Warehouse Store in Petaluma on Petaluma Blvd. North. They have all kinds of covers for cloth diapers and all in one diapers, etc. I like the waterproof covers with velcro. I have used the all in one diaper and it is conveinent.

Hi. I know I've seen some Kushies brand at Baby News over on Santa Rosa Ave. I don't have any experience in that cloth diaper dept. but I know for a fact I've seen some there. Also, have you tried Baby wharehouse in Petaluma? THe owner there usually carries things like that. Good Luck.

I have had luck with the CottonBabies website. They have competitive prices, a good return policy, diaper sell back system and free shipping over $73. They also offer diaper samplers so you can try bumgenious, kissvluvs,and other popular diapers. I am into bumgenious they are an all in one system. That means no vinyl pants on the outside. And they come in adjustable sizes so one diaper would fit your child from newborn to 3 years old.
I recommend checking around at the Children's Consignment Store- RP,Cotati, Seb, Hldg- that is how I found which system I liked best- Then I looked for used ones on Ebay or put in a search on Craigslist or Wacco (both in this area). I ended up using a simple almost pad like liner with a simple cover. This way the diapers weren't so bulky on my baby. Good luck.
It does take some time to lose the weight again, while you are nursing.Your body needs the extra weight.Be patient and enjoy the little one!!!

If you are interested, I have a ton of new cloth diapers left from yet another craft idea that I had. I found them on-line from a website out of Utah. I am in Santa Rosa. If you would like to buy some from me, I would sell them for $1 each. I have at least 75. The other places I have seen them are at ToysRus, but they are expensive. Also, Baby News in Santa Rosa. Have you tried whole foods? i'm not sure if there's one in Rohnert Park but I know there's one in Petaluma.
