Cool Birthday Ideas

I don't know what Denver has to offer. I've only been here a week. I have had a bowling party for my little girl with kids of all ages. They loved it! It was great. It has been about 9 months since and she still talks about her happy birthday bowling party. It didn't even cost too much with pizza and cake included in the package.

I am not sure where you are located, but my friend just had her kids joint bday party at a place called Bounce. It is full of air castles and obstacle courses and the one we went to even allowed adults inside. : ) Or if you are looking for something on a larger scale, you could do a theme park, just check to see how extensive their kids area is. I love Water world in Denver for the "all ages factor".

There is a place in West Jordan called "Sky High Entertainment" that has indoor equipment like bounce houses, or "Gymboree" or "My Gym". They have party packages. You could try the children's museum at the Gateway or go to an IMAX movie at the Planetarium or Jordan Commons. If you're on a tight budget, you could take them to the "Wild West" park in West Jordan, but then you'd have to deal with lots of other kids.

I noticed you are located in Salt Lake City. I was going to make some local suggestions but that wouldn't do you any good. I noticed somesone suggested Dave N Busters. That would be fun. Though its more of a bar scene for the 'older' kids. And they ID everyone after a certain time in the evening (kids have to be accompanied by an adult). A family fun center would be fun. A cool 'kid friendly' resturant. There is a website that I go to called www.gocitykids.com ... you might be able to find some ideas there. I would ask Mom's locally of some ideas, or even have your kids ask their friends. Hopefully another Salt Lake Mom will reply and help you out. Have fun!

We did a carnival party at our house when my daughter was 6. We made a ball toss (like on the Bozo show), a ring toss, a fishing area. We had a friend volunteer to have pies thrown at him for a pie throwing contest. I hired Ann Lincoln, the clown www.annlincoln.com/ and the kids loved her. I bought popcorn bags on line and wrapped an empty box in wrapping paper and tied a string to it to carry it around my neck and passed out the popcorn before the clown show. I had my daughter go through her stuffed animals and get rid of enough for all of the kids. We hung them on a string on our deck and those were the "prizes". We all had a wonderful time. I would suggest bowling. My stepkids love to go (they are 7 and 5). It's definately an activity that boys and girls alike can enjoy and the environment is exciting, especially if you go on a night when they turn off the lights and play music. And nothing would make them feel cooler than pulling up in a limo!

How about a limo ride through downtown to the Aquarium?

My nephews and my daughters all love sea animals and fish so its as unisex as you can get.

Hi, Dave & Busters is a fun place. It is at I25 and Colorado Blvd. They have an arcade, and pool tables and a sports bar for adults. Another place would be ESPN Zone downtown Denver, not far from the ballpark.

As for a limo, I don't have any reccomendations.
