Costco's Kirkland Brand Diapers

Hi, I am thinking of trying Costco's Kirkland brand disposable diapers but I don't want to buy them as it is such a huge package of them if they are terrible. Has anyone tried these and if so how do they compare to Pampers? I have been using Pampers on my two forever and have tried Luvs and Huggies and didn't care for them. I like Pampers because they don't leak as easily as the other brands and feel more comfortable than the others. Let me know how you rate the Kirklands, thank you.

So What Happened?

Thank you for all your input, I will try them. I do use their brand of wipes on occasion and have been happy with them. I am just more particular about the diapers as both my daughters have chronic diarrhea (we see a GI specialist for it) and need diapers that don't leak the poo as easily. Thanks again!

I might be the only one, but I didn't like the Kirkland diapers at all. This was a couple of years ago though, so they might have improved them to be fair. I tried the one box and never bought them again. I now just buy the brand name from Costco and call it good. I wish I could remember what it was that we didn't like, but it was enough that my husband didn't want to use them either, and he's the cheapest guy you'll find!

I was always a pampers mom and then needed diapers and was at Costco and they didn't carry pampers. I told them I wish they did and then the manager said try the kirkland brand, if you don't like them bring them back! Okay. It was a much better price and they turned out to be great diapers too. I actually had less accidents with them and they don't have the pampers scent. That is my input - go for it!

I started out using Huggies and switched when Costco started producing the Kirkland diapers, around the time my first son turned six months. Don't know how many thousands of them I've bought between my boys, but they're excellent. I played around with Luvs (didn't fit my super skinny boy), tried a few Pampers (too expensive), and would occasionally purchase Huggies when traveling. They really are a good value, and if you don't think they're all that, you CAN return them to Costco without question. I doubt you can do that with any other diaper out there.

I used them on my daughter because Costco doesn't carry Pampers Cruisers and I don't like Huggies at all. They worked very well for her. Also, the cashier told me the first time I bought them, that if I didn't like them to bring the box back and they would return my money (after I tried them a few days.) You could check and see if that is still true.

Check their website. I think you can request some samples to try before buying.

Hi S.,
I have not tried the Kirkland brand but wanted to mention Kroger's diapers. Surprisingly, Kroger diapers have worked perfectly for both my kids (who are now potty trained..yeah!). I tried most of the regular brands as well and was thrilled that there were other workable options. Good luck with your search.

Love them, love them, love them! I am a mom of 4, two still in diapers, and for the first two swore by Pampers Cruisers. Now all we buy is Kirklands. They are similar to Huggies Supremes, elastic back and legs and hold everything in. They are worth the purchase!!

I recently bought the Kirkland brand diapers. They are really nice & look better than any other generic brand diaper I've ever seen or used. They don't absorb as much urine though. They've never leaked, but it seams when the diaper is full, it doesn't keep the baby dry. Hope this makes sense for you. But I may still buy them again, you just have to change them more often.

I used Kirkland's diapers and thought they were fine. I'm not a name-brand expert, I just like quality products. If you tried Huggies and didn't like them, I'm afraid you may find something wrong with Kirkland's because well they're just diapers, nothing to write a ringing endorsement about, just diapers that didn't become soaked with a tablespoon of urine.
