Hi Ladies! I am looking at these three schools for both pre-school and kindergarten. Can you all help me with your impressions, experiences, etc.?

Such a hard decision to make!! Thank you in advance!

What can I do next?

Primrose School of Bedford is an exceptional childcare experience. The teachers and staff go above and beyond want is expected with a friendly, caring and very approachable attitude. Both my children have benefitted from the Primrose experience. I would highly recommend Primrose to take care of your children. You can rest assured that your children are in good hands!

My sons went to Primrose of Bedford for 5 years - through kindergarten - and still goes there occasionally on days when school is closed. We love it there.

My husband and I toured FWC (and 4 others but no others that you mentioned) and after we left our thoughts were not very pleasant. The school seemed very laid-back and there was NO security the day we toured (it was a game/pep rally day but that's every Fri until end of season so not that rare imo). There were young kids unattended in the hallways and even outside (since it's a multiple building campus they can apparantly roam (or at least on pep rally days for sure but she did say some of the doors to remain open at all times so students can change throughout the day) from building to building which really freaked me out). They are also not a discipleship (and the lady who toured us didn't know what I meant when I asked that so I had to explain it to her which I thought was a bit odd) so that would be something to look into if that's important to you - apparantly (I just learned this) there are discipleship Christian schools were they require the family to already be Christian and practice that lifestyle and then there are evangelical ones where they will accept students even if they are not Christian. Not a big deal for me either way but was something I was interested in knowing. Just something I learned when I researched schools. The best advice I can give you is to go and tour the schools you are interested in, do the research, and make the best decision you can. We have decided on Bethesda Christian for our little ones, if all goes well our first will start K next year there and continue on. Hope you find a school that will work for your child(ren) and family too - it's NOT an easy decision at all!!

My son used to attend Primrose Bedford and we loved it. We have friends that attend Covenant, and they love it. I've also heard great things about Ft. Worth Christian. I don't think you would go wrong with any of these.

I have attended FWC (1-6), Bethesda Christian (7-8), and Lake Country Christian (9-12). FWC has been around the longest i think. Bethesda is the best as far as I am concerned. LCC and FWC are college prep schools I believe. Don't know if you are concerned or not, but, FWC is Church of Christ background, Bethesda is Assembly of God background and LCC is Southern Baptist background. I think you should make a list of what is important to you and your family. Then start researching in depth. And then do the tours. My children attend Calvary Christian Academy and I loooooove the teachers there and the school is amazing!!! You just need to find the right fit for your family.

Best of luck!!! I know this can be a hard time.

I graduated HS from FWC. I have a 7 yo daughter and would not send her there.

They are not accepting of another denominations (as poster posted below they are Church of Christ)

My experience there was horrible. I went there 10-12 grade. One of my brothers was in elem and one in middle both my parents pulled them out after a year. i stayed because the sports team at the time i was on was state ranked.

My friend went to Bethesda and hated it! (but that was middle and highschool) She went to church there and loved the church but said the school was horrible. I worked at the early childhood there back in 2003-2004. It is a diff director now her name is Amy. I knew her then and she was very nice as the Asst Dir. I do not know how she runs it as in charge but nothing could be worse than the director they had there first. She was bad. Now keep in mind when i worked there (not sure now) there was NO SET CURRICULUM. they has a theme every month and the teacher created what they want around that like circus, space etc... not very organized but it could be different now. OK i just realized you didnt ask about Bethesda. I got that from the lady's post below. My bad!

For the most part Primroses are pretty good. One of the families I babysit for daughters go to a Primorose in Bedford (they live off central) and they LOVE it.

I know nothing about Convenant.
