This company seems to have data entry and other typing related jobs:

I haven't truly checked them out... just ran across it the other day.

Wow, I just had to add that I only ran across this the other day and bookmarked it to look at it again as I am looking for thing to do from home. And, while I will agree with the sentiment Amber gave that paying for a placement service is not really something I want to do, I'm not sure how one can tell that a classified ad is more legit. The more I look at the above website, there are some red flags... I was just trying to be helpful... Perhaps I shouldn't be so gung-ho about responding and wait until I know more ... I just figure that people could check it out for themselves. I was not promoting it...didn't expect such a slap.

I used to work for this company. They are a litigation document coding company. You read legal documents and pick out various things, TO, FROM, DATE, SUBJECT, KEYWORD, it varies per job. They say they only hire people w/legao backgrounds but they hired me and I have NO LEGAL background whatever. I was not asked to pay anything to work for them. You have to pass a test, a sample coding job and you also have to print the manual for each job.... but it does pay, I made between $100-$300 per month, one time I got $1100... but only once. There was LOTS of work that month.... here is the link:

http://www.voicelog.com/careers/info.html is a work from home place that is not going to cost you anything to start.

It really helps if you are fluent in Spanish or some other 2nd language.

This is a 3rd party verification program.

Example if you switch your phone service from Verizon to Bell or AT&T .. you get a phone call and an operator asks if you are the person that authorized that change, etc... and that information is sent to the Voicelog database.

The work from home person's login to this database and verify that all the information on that record is correct.

There is no selling or interfacing with the customer.

Hope this helps you as this is a legitimate business and is not a home based business where you have to spend any money to start working from home etc..
