We're planning a DisneyWorld trip and want to stay at either the Boardwalk Villas or Animal Kingdom. Any recommendations. I have two boys 4 and 6.

What can I do next?

I just stayed there at the beginning of March - it was wonderful. It was just my husband and me (celebrating anniversary). We had a bedroom and a living room with a pull-out couch. There was also a little kitchen and washer/dryer (nice for Disney). There are at least 2 pools (one looks really cool). You are walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios (nice).

I'm not sure if all the villas are the same - I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Have never stayed at Animal Kingdom but have heard it is very nice. Your kids might like that alot too (especially if you have a room that fronts the savannah).

Good luck with your decision and have a great time!

Hi there! We absolutely love Disney World and joined Disney Vacation Club a few years ago. We stayed at the Boardwalk Villas last May. We got a two bedroom and it was sooooo great!!

The thing we loved the most about Boardwalk and Beach Club is that they are close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You can literally walk to either one (Hollywood Studios is a little far) or ride on a boat. We would usually ride on the boat to Epcot and then get on the monorail to go over to Magic Kingdom.

I've been told the Animal Kingdom villas are BEAUTIFUL. However, if you stay there be prepared to take a bus to the parks.

Since we had a stroller with us, we preferred to avoid the busses because it's so much harder to get in and out of. On the boats and monorails, you didn't even have to fold up the strollers, so it was much, much easier.

Have a blast!! We are planning our next Disney World for next year -- not sure which month, yet. :)

Disney Boardwalk Villas are very nice, and you will save money on meals. It has a kitchen, and you can do laundry. The Boardwalk comes to life at night, and it is beautiful. Animal Kingdom also has villas, and you have the animals. You will need a room facing the place where they hang out, and I know the boys would love to see them. I would go for the cheaper one, and you can request villas also at Animal Kingdom. I want to remind you to take three evenings for yourself to do adult activities, and you could get a mature inroom sitter. You can send me an email at ____@____.com, and I will give you more details about the service. The boys will have fun, and they are at the perfect age to enjoy the experience.

Animal Kingdon is really cool but you have to take a bus everywhere. And it's farthest from all the parks (except AK itself). So it could be a 30 minute bus ride after a long day in the parks. If you think your boys could handle it, I think it'd be a cool place to stay. If you decide on Boardwalk, it's still worth a bus ride for dinner at Boma and just to walk around the resort.

We've done Boardwalk and it's really nice. It's not too overly "themey." And being able to walk/boat to Hollywood Studios and Epcot is really nice.

Have a fun trip!
