D.K.
Well you knocked out the first two for the most part, but you may have been pregnant and are in the process of miscarrying. Stress, hormonal imbalance, over or under weight.
I havent had a period since the beginning of June but have been feeling like my periods about to come any second now for 2 weeks now. I have those 'my periods coming soon' cramping and twinges but no period. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. Does anyone know any reasons for a missed/ late period? IIs it normal to skip a period every now and again? I am in my 20s and am on no type of birth control nor have I ever. Hubby and I use condoms. If it doesnt come in a week, I will make an appt with my OBGYN.

Stress, hormone imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid issues, immune system issues, anemia, dehydration, drastic weight gain or loss...
There are tons of reason!! I agree with you, wait a week and see your OB.
K.:
I agree with both Bug and Ma - there are number of things that can make a period late...stress is the number one reason...
And agree as well that you should not think about it for a week and if you still haven't had it in a week - go to your OB...
GOOD LUCK!!
There are lots of reasons not having a period. More than usual exercise, stress, illness, schedule changes can throw off your body's internal clock, medications, overweight/underweight, amennhorea, etc. There are lots of reasons. If it doesn't come, I agree with ya, go see your obgyn and see what's up.
Stress, not eating, and menopause
Stress, rapid weight loss, malnutrition, deficiency in certain nutrients, pregnancy....lots of stuff.
I was 20 days late (yes 20) this month compared to my normal 28 day cycle. I have the paragard iud so I wasn't too worried but I don't know what caused it. Stress, exercise could be anything. Give your doc a call
Stress Stress and other stress, lol. When I'm under insane amounts of stress (emotional, psychological, physical) my body will skip a period... or I'll come down with a bug and get sick and still have a period! Although there was the one time I got sick, pushed myself though it to meet some other scheduled events and skipped a period.
I was told by my OB/GYN that its ok to skip periods on occasion. There's not really anything they can do about it and typically don't begin to worry until you've skipped several in a row - even if you've been fairly regular most of your life.
I say... enjoy not having to deal with it. Quit worrying, and try to find a way to relax a bit.
Stress, excessive exercising...I am inconsistent and have never been regular. I see my OBGYN regularly, she says it is due to stress, I have had 3 normal healthy full term pregnancies, so my irregular periods never hindered me there. Good to check in with your doctor, it can be an indication of more serious matters.
