Hi am looking to buy a double jogger stroller, any suggestions on what to buy or what not to buy. My girls are 30 pounds but I want to be able to put them in one stroller to go for a walk or go to the zoo.

What can I do next?

Unless you are actually going to jog with the stroller, I wouldn't recommend buying a jogger. I have a jogger and I run often. It can tire you easily because the combined weight of the stroller and the child requires you to burn so much extra energy. I only have a single jogger, and when i was using it, my kids were younger than yours. 60 additional pounds plus the stroller weight is a lot of weight to push.

Secondly, like someone already said, if you are just using it for walks, the joggers don't turn like the regular strollers do. The front tire stays straight on mine and doesn't turn, so I have to push the handlebar down to lift up the front tire. They do make a few with turning front tires I think, so if you're getting one for walks, make sure the front tire turns.

I definitely agree with the person who said buy a wagon. We have an all terrain wagon with high back seats, and my kids love it. We use it ALL the time--for walks, trips to the zoo, parades, etc. THe kids love it because they can see in all directions. Good luck!!

What about a wagon? Radio Flyer has an all terrain wagon with air tires. It would allow you to go anywhere. Plus you can take the sides off for easier travel. Here is the link if interested http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=226670...

If you are a runner, I recommend the BOB Ironman double jog stroller. I love mine!

Check out the strollers on babyjogger.com. These are strollers for running as well as walking. I am not sure what the basket underneath the stroller can handle in terms of weight (bags, clothes, water bottles, food, etc.) but the stroller itself can handle up to 70 lbs so a single.

Good for you, this sounds like GREAT exercise! :) Check out your local bike shop... I saw one last summer at Penn Cyle (for around $300) that you can either tow behind your bike or use the handle to push as a jogging stroller. Have fun!
