Double Strollers.

Peg Perego has a double with an actual steering handle that's suppose to steer like no other but it costs a fortune.

Baby Trend-Sit-and-Stand Stroller is truly the way to go. Its been a godsend for us. We cant say a bad word about it. Its easy to get in and out of the car (folds easily and isnt too heavy) easy to manuever around malls, zoo etc. Remember no double stoller is as easy to get around as a single but the side by side ones barely fit down some store aisles. We have a one year old and a three year old and since she was two when the baby was born she was getting to the point where she didnt want to sit for long in the stoller anyway. The back part allows her to sit (facing you) and or stand facing either way. She (our three year old loves it) and the basket underneath is big enough for a baby bag/backpack and a few other items if needed!

Target has them for approx. $119. I recommend this over the Joovy Cabose (its the only other sit and stand on the market) I havent had that one but have friends who do and arent crazy about it and I for sure know the basket underneath hardly holds anything. Baby trend also have two cup holders on the handle where you push from AND two in the tray that goes upfront.

It accommadates almost any type of snap in carseat then as baby gets bigger just take the bar off and put them in front like normal stoller.

I have 2 boys that are 18 months apart and we originally bought the Jeep Double (tandem) stroller, and ended up selling it because it was just soooo huge and very, very difficult to steer. We bought a Joovy Caboose and have liked that alot, it it much, much, smaller and easier to steer - although the "back seat" is for children who are a little older and they also have the option to stand as well. We also have a Schwinn (side by side) jogging stroller and LOVE it because it is so easy to steer, extra lightweight, and the boys love it, but you cannot take it with you in your car - so we only use it for walks around the neighborhood. If I could do it over, I would DEFINATELY purchase a side-by-side jogging-type stroller, with a front swivel wheel, that folds up so we could take it places. I think Jeep makes one now and some other manufacturers too. They are more expensive than others, but it would be worth the money!

I have a Graco Duo Glider and I really like it. I haven't ever seen a double with the one handed steering, would be nice but it might be because the doubles are so big. When I had a single stroller it was and even flo and was not of good quality, one of the wheels fell off and was just not good all around so we didn't want to buy that brand again. Good Luck!

I have tried the tandom strollers (front and back seats) and found them to be extremely difficult to manuver. They turn very hard with 2 children. They now have the sit and stand stroller that many people like. Also, some of the side by side strollers are not very wide so I would check these out. Good luck!

I have a sit and stand stroller that I LOVE!!! I did have a 2 year old when I got it, so he was thrilled to be able to sit on his bench or stand and look forward or at me and behind me, or walk next to it holding onto the bar (that is the rule so he doesn't stray when we are somewhere). He is four now and walks almost all the time, but it is still nice to have a bench for him when we are power outing!!! WE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! (There is also an attachment that comes with it so the car seat can be clicked on the front and the front seat does recline - not a whole lot - as when you recline it, the bench is not useable. Just the things to consider.

I have done a TON of research on this subject and have found the Joovy brand strollers to be the best fit for two kids (when one is able to stand) They feature a sit down/stand up type thing in the back. I've been watching them on ebay and craigslist for a while. A couple of my friends have them and love them! I've heard the Graco version is very disappointing.

I've had my Inglesina side by side (fits through all doors) as my car stroller/travel stroller and love it. It's light weight and narrow to fit everywhere. I got it at Baby on Grand. It's comparable to the Maclaren side by side but cheeper. It lays back enough for a 3 month old but not a newborn. I used my single and put the baby in a sling when she was an infant. I've seen a lot more moms out there with a Graco that has a stand attachment on the back. They seem very happy as well. If you plan to do some outdoor activities, like walking the lake, I would HIGHLY recommend the BOB or Mountain Buggy side by side stroller. I live in the city and use my Mountain Buggy all summer long. It fits in every store, even the narrowest grocery store in my neighborhood. The BoB is also narrow and I think it' has a better sun visor than mine (adjustable for the new baby). My Mountain Buggy has an attachment so that I put my Graco Car seat in it.. great feature!! All of my strollers, fit easily into my car. Even the Mountain Buggy folds down. IT's also got a carry on bag which we used when we went out West for vacation. Hope this helps.

I have 2 1/2 yr old twins. We just got done using the graco duoglide with airtires (when the tires were full it steered smoothly, but when the air is out just a little bit it can make it more difficult to push). My mom got one off of ebay and it is the slickest stroller around it is a Combi, and that thing is light in lifting, durable and affordable. Right now we are doing the umbrella strollers with the attachments to make it a double and that is working nice (easier to use with toddlers, but not with a baby).

I think that if you want a "steer with one hand" you might have to go with something more sporty which usually means side by side. We have one that is a Schwin brand walker and it is side by side with a front wheel that swivels, and I can steer it with one hand. I love it. BUT I don't take it to the mall... I do take it to the zoo, and for walks around the neighborhood, to the park, around the lakes, etc. It was not super expensive, but it was not cheap either. We ordered it from Strollers.com.

My friends with new babies that wanted something that the infant carrier clicks in, and is more shopping friendly both have the Graco. They put the babies in the carrier clicked into the back, and their 3 year olds fit great in the front. They are difficult to push though, I don't think I've ever seen either of them push with one hand.

I have twins and a 5 year old - I tried several strollers and can tell you which didn't work. The peg perego double side by side was terrible to operate - can't steer it at all with twins who weigh the same - with children of different sizes, it was impossible. I have a sit and stand now which is nice and easy, but is getting a bit small for my 2 year old twins. The graco double stroller was the best I tried - the back seat is higher than the front, one of the seats is meant for a toddler and the wheels are big enough to get through snow. Worth the money and great for kids of different ages. It is big though, so check that it fits in your car before you buy it.

We have the Quattro Tour Duo by Graco...and I LOVE IT!!! It is very similar to my single rider Graco...cupholders for mom and one handed fold up. It is a tandum stroller with the infant car seat going in the back and the older child riding in the front. I like this because then my older child can look at to where we are going as opposed to facing backwards in the sit and stand strollers. I also really like it because my older child can get in and out by herself...there is no bar across the front. It is a little heavy and does take up a good amount of room in the back of my car, but I did not find many double stroller that did not. Good luck!!
