Anyone had any experience with Dr. Henry in Waxahachie?... or know a great pediatrician in the area. Thanks so much!
I don't have any experience with Dr. Henry, but my husband is a family practice doctor in Ennis and he see's children. He trained at JPS and did lots of pediatrics and is very good with kids. His name is Raymond Blair, and he is in the medical office building next to the new hospital on 287 in Ennis. Never heard of him. Dr. Strength and Dr. Pickens seem to be the most trusted. Dr.Carol Beyer in Hillsboro is WONDERFUL.
She's very personable and will talk to you on the phone.
We go to Dr. Peggy Linguist at that office, and we LOVE her. She is so caring and has a good balance of being laid back but also very knowledgeable...she knows when to be concerned, and when it is just a cold/virus that you have to let the child get through. She really loves the kids, too.
We have gone to Dr. Henry a few times when Dr. Peggy is not available, and we like him, too, but as a few people said, he does not have the "mother" factor as Dr. Peggy does. Dr. Walton is great, too.
We like Dr. Henry. He is a very thorough and gifted doctor, but he does not have the "mother" factor that the other doctors at Baylor Family do. Dr. Rhonda Walton is our regular pediatrician, has been for 10 years. She is wonderful! Dr. Linguist is the same, and so is Dr. Fung. They are all a part of the practice at Baylor Family. We have seen them all over the years and have not had a bad experience yet. And any one of them will pray with you if you want them to. We highly recommend them.
I also go to that group. Honestly, although Dr Henry is a good doctor, he isn't my favorite in that group. We LOVE Peggy Linguist, and I also had Dr Sweet (I think that's her name, or something similar) and I REALLY liked her. She looks so young but has two boys and is very knowlegable and great with the kids. I think you'd be pleased with anyone in that group.
YES We have been to Dr Henry..... I have boys and he was very kid friendly. He's a tall man and kinda towers over the kids but my boys like him. Also in the same office is Dr Rhonda Walton and Peggy Linquist. I call in for an appointment and whoever of these three are available is who we see. I highly recommend any of these!
