Drink Pitchers

Just yesterday I purchased a new pitcher for drinks in the fridge. I already have one pitcher but it has begun to stain from times that I've made iced tea. My question is what to do with it. I don't really want to just toss it. Anyone have ideas? I'm not a gardener that was my first thought thinking of how my Mom would use it.

What can I do next?

Maybe keep it in the bathroom for washing/rinsing hair? And for rinsing down the tub/shower after cleaning?

Recycle it! Or take it to Goodwill.

Do your kids have a play kitchen? Maybe you could put it in there if they do or they could use it for something? That's great that you have a recycling mind, sorry I don't have better suggestions! ;)

You could try to get the stains out with Clorox Clean-Up. That's what my mom does with her tea pitcher :)

Kids could play with it in the tub (you didn't say how big it was tho.. not sure if you want them dumping a gallon of water out of the tub! haha)

Put the kids' crayons / markers in it or any other little toys

A little white vinegar goes a long way. The tea stains are removable with white vinegar! It's just tannin build up, and it won't hurt anything, but if you really don't want to keep using it, try using it for soaking things in the laundry room?

Keep it to mix cleaning solutions, wash paint brushes, mix paint, or soak things.

join freecycle.org.....you can offer it to someone who may not care that it is stained.
