Would you recommend Luvs Easy-Ups or Huggies Pull-Ups and why? Is there something else better that I don't know about? My daughter will be 3 in June and she's decided she'd like to use the potty - yahoo! I'd really like something that lets her feel she's wet. When she's at home she's just in undies, but she goes to a sitter once a week and I need the option of a pull-up type product. What do you ladies recommend?

So What Happened?

Thanks so much for the recommendations so far - keep them coming! Again, at home she is in undies... I realize that pull-ups are not necessarily always the best way to go, but I NEED the option, no way around it. The sitter has already potty-trained three of her own lovely children, so I'm sure it will be just fine. She has a baby at home, though, so I need that option there for her. Please no posts about my doing it wrong by going with pull-ups... Trust me, my mommy guilt is in high gear with every new stage and I'm ultra-sensitive about all of it - not being able to do things 100% the way I want them done. I can't help it - the criticism (although meant to be helpful) hurts my heart because of the emotional place I'm in right now. Thanks for understanding! There are things I've had to let go of (for my sanity) being a working mom - out of necessity, not choice. Thanks again!

Neither if you are going to potty train go right to underwear. Pull ups/easy ups are nothing more then more expensive less absorbent diapers. Potty training will be messy but those types of diapers delay the process because the kids no they can go in them without making a mess.

in my experience huggies pullups have been great, i remember using easy ups on my daughter and not being totally satisfied with them. they didnt hold as much urine and they werent as comfortable.
with my oldest i used cloth diapers, they felt like underwear, they are comfortable and easy to wash in the summer when you can line dry them in the sun.

My little one is potty trained already, and is in panties too at home, but she's going through a regression b/c of our move and I've been using Huggies Pull-ups for outings. I don't reccomend that they stay on any longer than needed. Just keep her in panties as long as you can and as soon as you get home, take it off. Have the sitter stay on her about the potty.

I strongly recommend White Cloud. I use them on my son and they are less expensive then Easy Ups or Pull-Ups.
