Hi mamas, I am needing some info on ectopic pregnancy symptoms. I would like to hear from women that have had one and can tell me personal symptoms with your ectopic pregnancy.

Here is what's going on with me...first off I have an IUD and had it for awhile, in fact it's going to be removed this month due to the 5 years is up and needs to be replaced. For the last 6 or 7 days I have had burning/stabbing pain in my abdominal area that goes off and on. Sometimes the pain is so bad that im basically bent over in pain. I have also had pain shoot down from the left side of my pelvic area to my left knee. I feel extremely dizzy at times where I almost faint. I also experience nausea but never thrown up. I have taken 3 pregnancy test and 2 came out negative and one I'm not too sure, its almost as though there was a SUPER faint line where it almost seems you can't grasp what it reads. I took a pregnancy test again after that one and it was negative. I did read that with ectopic pregnancies that home urine pregnancy test can come out negative even though your positive. I have had no bleeding. My husband held my hand tonight and he said I felt clammy. I have ran low grade temp between 99.0-99.9 the past few days.

What was your symptoms? Should I go to the er? Thank you so much mamas:)

What can I do next?

My friend had an ectopic pregnancy and i don't think she had pain, she just had a steady flow of bleeding. If you are in pain like that, you should definitely go to the ER or at least the doctor. Something is not right.

With my ectopic I had a positive pregnancy test and 10 days of spotting before the pain came.It started as mild cramps in one spot, then the pain was unbearable b/c my tube was rupturing but it was only in one spot, not shooting or achy. It was a sharp, intense pain so bad that I had to call an ambulance take me to the hospital. This went on for 2 1/2 days before they took me into surgery.
It sounds more like you might have an issue with the iud or possibly cysts. Go get it checked out.

Get your behind to the doctor, if you don't have one or don't have insurance go to the ER. This doesn't sound like something you should be waiting on. You can always talk to a nurse at the ER first to see if they think you should come in.

I never had an ectopic pregnancy, but I had problems with ovarian cysts. They are extremely painful, and because there was infection involved, I ran a fever. I ended up in the hospital more than once and even had to have one of my ovaries removed because it was beyond repair.
Really, you just need to go to the doctor. They can do an ultrasound and figure out what's going on.
I put it off one time until my ovary was the size of a grapefruit. No wonder I was so sick and hurting.
Please get yourself checked out!

I wish you the very best.

I had 2 ectopic pregnancies and positive pregnancy tests with both. The first one I didn't really have any pain just A LOT of blood. My Dr. actually missed the ectopic and did a DNC for what she thought was a blighted ovum. I bled for another month afterwards. The pain didn't come until it began to rupture and I was doubled over on the floor. I was rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery. By that time it had ruptured, and I was really sick! Needless to say it was a horrible experience...

My second one was different as I was under care of another Dr. going through fertility treatments. Again I received a positive pregnancy test. With an ectopic you will get a high HCG reading in the beginning and then the numbers will begin to decline. It was during Thanksgiving and I opted for surgery to have the other tube removed. We waited another week to get through the holiday before doing the surgery. I had some bleeding, but no pain.
Your symptoms don't sound like an Ectopic, but everyone is different. If the pain is bad enough call your doctor or go to the ER.

I hope you have gone to the ER! All of your symptoms sound like mine were. I lost both tubes at different times to ectopics. Each time o was 7-8 weeks along and the tubes ruptured and I was bleeding out. Both times I was rushed to emergency surgery. My first early blood test showed I was pregnant and two days later it was negative. I hope you see someone soon.
