I am familiar with KidsMarketandMom but just missed their sale. I have way too many boys and girls baby and toddler clothes. I am running out of attic space and could use a little extra money too. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm also interested in hearing from anyone who has used an Ebay trading assistant to sell their clothes. I believe there are a couple of stores that offer to sell your stuff on Ebay for you as well. I think, though, you only get 30% of what they sell for if you do it through a store. Anyway, just thought I'd ask if anyone has thoughts on this. By the way, I live in Cahaba Heights and although it would be nice to do business close to home, I am open to any suggestions.
There is a consignment store in Vestavia on Hwy 31. I believe the name is Kids Korner. They are next to Subway, close to Publix and the Rave Movie Theatre. I have had a great deal of success there.

I have sold on ebay before. I think you should do it yourself and keep all the profit, it is easy to do..You will sell them!

I don't have any experience selling anything, but I've got a two and a half year old that is wearing 3Ts now. I don't know if you have much in that size, but I might be interested in buying some clothes, if you want to sell them yourself. I've also got a niece that is turning 2 and wearing 2Ts, so if you've got anything in that size, I'd be interested in that too.

I buy and sell new and used kids clothing on EBay. I usually sell in lots - since that takes less time and seems to bring in larger $$. I'm constantly shopping clearance on Carter's, Polo, Old Navy and Gymboree - which sell great. Ebay offers some great advice on getting started. I handle everything from home - I print postage thru PayPal and the mailman picks up all the packages. I also buy lots of new clothes on Ebay and keep what I want and relist the rest.
I take all of my stuff to 2 places - Second Hand Rose and Sweet Repeats both in Pelham. You get 50% and they price everything for you. SHR you can go anytime between 10-3 M-F but at SR you need an appt. If you are interested in selling on Ebay I sell quite a bit. I believe the going rate is that I would get 30% and you get 70% after fees are paid and I would be fine with that.

i found youll make much more money selling it on ebay than you would by subleasing it to someone on ebay or through kidsmarketand mom. Its not that hard to do it through ebay your self all it takes is an account with them and a digital camera. Ihave a friend who goes to yard sales and the thrift store and resales the items on ebay for a nice profit. If you have any questions just email me ____@____.com
