No matter where you decide to go just be sure to put your kids in ski school so they have a safe, successful experience. I am shocked at the amount of people that take their children skiing and just hope for the best. Skiing is a dangerous sport and even if your child is going very slow and being very cautious that doesn't mean everyone else will.

Beaver Creek or Vail. they are pricey but you can get good deals on the internet at snow.com

I also just saw that you can go to coloradoskideals.com they might have some deals. The snow here is good right now and they have really good ski school as well.

Park City is AMAZING!! I highly recommend it for all ages.

The NewPark hotel is fabulous, but gets pricy. Look into it. Have fun!

I live in Georgetown. If you are going to drive the best place to go is to New Mexico, especially with 3 kids. I grew up in Colorado and it is a loooonnnggg drive with kids. We took our kids to Red River, New Mexico 2 years ago. Our youngest was 3 at the time. It was an easy drive. We stayed in a condo that had 2 bedrooms and a little kitchen and living room. It was great. Everyday the ski shuttle would come and pick us up and drop us off at the ski mountain. The ski school was wonderful. Both of my kids loved it. We put them in school for 2 days and on the 3rd day we went skiing with them. The mountain is really nice. There are also lots of other activities to do with kids. My older child went snow shoeing one day and had a blast. Let me know if you have any questions.

Also, the best place to ski in Colorado is Steamboat Springs.

I agree w/ Jessica C. Check out either Ruidoso NM or Cloudcroft NM. Probably the closest you can find and both places are fun; Cloudcroft is pretty small.

You could also check out Ski Apache outside of Ruidoso NM, it is about the farthest south you can go in the US and find skiing-about 3.5 hrs north of El Paso. I lived about 1.5 hours away, and went as often as possible. Not too expensive, but I am not sure, their ski school might not start until age 4, so you'd have to check that out.
