Has anyone had a party at Sweet and Sassy in Oakbrook or know someone who has? I'm thinking about having my daughters 8 yr birthday party there but would like some feedback from other moms before making the decision.

We had my daughter's 5th birthday party there in May. I thought it went great! (we also did the princess party). the girls had a ton of fun and they had plenty of staff on hand to help out, do the makeup, etc. All the moms couldn't stop thanking me. Definitely a hit!

We just had my daughter's 5th birthday party there in May. I would give the party 4 out of 5 stars. The girls had an absolute blast doing the Perfect Princess (for the younger crowd) - loved dressing up, hair/makeup/nails, etc., and truly felt like they were special for the day. The staff running the party had some difficulty getting all of them together as a group, as they might not be trained in any special way to handle younger children, so I needed to assist them. This was really my only issue. Good luck!
I haven't gone, but I went to www.kidwinks.com (the only place I go for birthday party ideas as well as where to find local activies for the kids) and searched for Sweet and Sassy and only one review came up and that was for the Chicago location.
Here's what that review stated:
My daughter had a birthday party here. All the girls had fun getting their nails painted, their hair done up, and light make up put on. Then they had fun dressing up and doing the runway. Great time for girls of all ages. The only downside was the place was a little crowded with two parties and others using the salon services. The party room was a little tight fit.
I took my daughter there (Oak Brook) for a pre-school graduation gift. She did the hair/nail package. They pampered her so much - the best thing I've ever done for her. She had the time of her life. The girl who took care of my daughter was Amy. My 5-year old is convinced that Amy is her best friend!! :) We loved it! You will love it!!
