Princess or Fairy Party

I have a little girl who is about to turn four and she loves princesses, fairies, and dressing up! I am trying to plan a birthday party for her. Any suggested locations (preferably in the city, but suburbs may be ok) that might be fun? Any character visits that are worth it? Thank you!

Check out also Princess Club on 3300 Southport (and school). I just signed my daughter up for ballet camp there - they do princess, fairy, anf fairy tale themed classes, camps, and parties. Their number is ###-###-####.

Sweet and Sassy is fairy/princess heaven. There is a runway for dress up, salon for updos and nails, and a little area for buying cutesy girl things. One location in Oakbrook, the other is in Lincoln Park. All the information is at www.sweetandsassy.com

My daughter, who is four, went to a birthday party there and loved it. All the girls did.

Hope this helps.

check out Sweet and Sassy http://www.sweetandsassy.com.

they are a bit pricey, in my opinion, but if it's a small number of girls, it might not be too bad.

Gymboree also offers Princess Playhouse (includes dress up) as one of their "no extra charge" themes. I believe their parties run about $400.

Your local park district is always a good option to host a party if you do not want to have it at your home. Creative Celebrations offers 2 different Princess Parties and lots of Princess characters that your 4 year old would love (www.creative-celebrations.net).

We would love to help you out.

Take care

I'm sure someone said this already, but what about the Chicago Botanical Gardens as a location? This time of year, it's beautiful and if the weather was nice, the party would be a hit there. They do special events all the time for kids and I'm sure would work with you on a party. Maybe you could make princess hats or headbands with ears and also attachable wings for the girls to wear. They have food there, so would probably cater, keeping it easy.
