Hi again!
One more question! Just wanted some ideas of what other moms feed their 11 month old who is started to eat more regular food with baby food. I alternate, but feel like I do the same meals all of the time. Any ideas? She's able to chew pretty good now, but only has 6 front teeth!
thanks!

You'd be surprised at what she'll be able to chew with her gums! Just make sure it's cut small enough that it won't pose a chocking hazard. And maybe check with your doc to see about highly allergenic foods to stay away from (shell fish, honey, etc.) until she's older.

Keep going with steamed veggies and fruits, as well as a few new things like cheese and she'll love it! This is an exciting stage for her!!

Feed her little bits of whatever you're eating. She'll love it, eating what mommy's eating.

I feed my son whatever we're eating. If need be, I'll cut it into smaller pieces, but he's growing out of the 'baby food' stage and really getting into eating whatever we have on our plates.

She can eat whatever you're eating. I'd stay away from things like steak though. It's probably too tough for her to chew. I know that you're not suppose to give milk, honey, caro syrup, peanutbutter or strawberries till their at least a year. She can eat cheese and yogurt. I wouldn't go overboard on the seasoning either.

Soft tofu - simply cut into bite size pieces, boil and serve. Great source of protein and my kids all seemed to really like its nondescript taste at that age.
