I would love some advice on family doctors in the area... We live in the NW area of Fort Wayne, and are relatively new to the area. Currently I am looking for a family doctor for my 4 month old, husband and myself. Originally my son was going to Fort Wayne Pediatrics. However, they seemed large and pretty in-personal. I than took him to see Dr Tallon, who seemed nice, but perhaps not very thorough?? I would love to find a Dr that is also an OB and we could see for everything. Any thoughts would be appreciated, and suggestions greatly appreciated!!

I take my daughters to FWP and I feel kinda the same way, just a little chaotic there. I saw Dr. Tallon as an OB when I was pregnant with my 2nd and also felt the same about her, too-less than thorough. Now I see Dr. Girod who is a great doc for me and I think she does take children too and she is an OB but I don't honestly know if she's taking new patients-you should give her a call!

I take my 2 kids to Dr. Mark Adams at Fort Wayne Pediatrics. Just love him! We have had most of the doctors there from time to time and haven't had one yet that the kids don't like.

My name is C. and I am a mother of two. A 2 1/2 year old Son and a 9 week old daughter. I currently see Dr. Harding at First Care Family Physicians located behind Parkview North Hospital. I know that is not close to where you leave, but she is wonderful. She does it all! She delivered both my babies and it was a wonderful expereince. She is capable of taking care of all our needs.

Hi S. - welcome to Fort Wayne! We moved to FW 11 years ago from another state and did not know anyone. A colleague of my husbands reccommended FW Pediatrics for our children - specifically Dr. Jim Bollier. I have a son and 3 daugters and they all loved him! He was always so nice, relaxed, funny, and made them feel very comfortable. My oldest 3 children no longer see Dr. Bollier (they are 22, 20, & 15 now) but my 6 year old does. Our family physician is Dr. Sean Brennan with First Care. My husband & I see him as well as our older children. We think he is great! His office is located in Woodland Plaza, behind the McDonald's on Dupont Rd.

I go to Andreanna Hodgini. Her office is right off I-69, exit 102A, turn into Lutheran Hospital entrance, right at stop sign, follow curve around, first medical office on the left is her office. Associate Family Medical Consultants.
She is a family doctor and she can do the annual exam. She has been great for my kids. I went to 3 pediatricians before I found her, and I absolutely love her. I have been to Dr. Tallon and I suggest leaving. Two of my friends went there as well and they were not pleased. Just an Fyi.
Dr. Hodgini has two other male doctors in her practice. I have used both of them for emergency visits, and they were great. My one son got a cut on his hand at daycare, and Dr. Urhammer was so good with him. My son was only 1.5 years old. He was very calm, talked him through it, and my son did great through the stitches. All of the doctors and nurses are great. They can always get me into the office the same day. They have afterhours services. They'll work with you for payment plans. They also take MedWise Hoosier Healthwise if that's a necessity. Dr. Hodgini is a great listener, very concerned about you for health and mental concern. She follows up with me and gives free samples for meds whenever she can. When having questions for the nurses, you leave a message. They always call you back with information from the doctor or research the same day. They call in refills on prescriptions within 24 hours. They work with you to find meds that are covered on your health plan or are discounted at the pharmacy for the $4.00 copay. I really like them.
