Hi J.-
My mother cried when my little sister went off to Kindergarten. After 3 kids, she realized that all of her babies were growing up. It was very hard for her. However, my pops reminded her that while her babies were not babies anymore, there were positives. One- no more diapers, pacifiers, pureed food, etc. AND, all the more there are things to look forward too...1st days of school every year (get our your camera!), first time they can both go camping and enjoy it...first trip to a theme park...first track meet, soccer game, first science fair project....and then first school dance, first girlfriend, first karate class, first child prepared breakfast or dinner, first chore chart....there are firsts their entire life. So love all the time you have with your babies as babies, and then hopefully through your loving tears you can see all the wonderful things they still have to experience with you by their side....first and favorite books, first steps, first pool party...I know it's hard because that's the end of baby time, but then there will be so many other things that baby time will become one of those precious memories that allows you to see all that they have been while they are becoming everything you can only dream of. You get to see the whole journey, and what a blessing.
Good luck mama. Cry for as long as you need too, because it is emotional.
Hugs
