I am possibly going to start a new, FABulous job. The caveat? At my current job I am able to work from home when my baby is sick. When I start this new job, I won't be able to swing that.
My husband's job is pretty strict about time off so he can get away with a day here or there but we just blew through a week of alternating days while our daughter was sick (he took a day, then I took a day, then he took a day, etc.). So it will be a while before he can get away with this again.
My sitter does not provide sick care and all of my family works and can't take time off when our kiddo gets sick.
Help me Mamas!!! Is there another way to get childcare for your kid when they get sick so you don't lose your job? I would appreciate any ideas. The job I am looking at is around the Dallas North Tollway and Spring Valley. I just want to have a plan in place BEFORE something goes down.
Presbyterian Hospital of Plano (tollway/parker) has a sick-child daycare program called Cuddles & Coughs. It came highly recommended to me from another mom who used it.

The hospital in Richardson (off Campbell near 75) has sick child care, as well.
C.--I don't know where you live, but I know that Presbyterian Dallas has a sick childcare service as well.
I used to know. I think a hospital in Plano has a setup that take children when they are sick. They put them in the same room with children with like illness. You might have to do a search or call around.
