Do you think that a FREE Mother's bracelet is a good enough hostess incentive to get a mom to hostess a in-home party? Just before Mother's Day, I thought it would be.

What can I do next?

For what type of party? I am a Silpada Designs Representative and am always looking for fun ideas for my parties. I haven't had to use many incentives in order for people to book shows. But, I'd love to hear if more people wanted to have parties with the extra gift.

I am massage therapist, so for myself I would pass! I typically offer free sessions for big parties for the hostess for my events. That is usually enough right there to seal anything~

Also, it depends on your party and how many people you need to prepare for. A ton of work is usually involved as well as expense.

If you don't have anything happening in your home for Mother's Day, then go for it! Otherwise, I personally would book it earlier or after so you do not have any messes to really worry about (sometimes our guests spill things and create those famous stains!) :)

It would be hard to say without knowing the quality of the item. A sterling silver, delicately worked item probably would be, but something that looks like it comes by the millions from China, for someone who went to the trouble of inviting and clearing up and getting ready to host... probably not.

Just so you know there is going to be a variety of responses to that offer, I don't wear words on jewelery, not even titles or names. I wouldn't think it was a valuable gift for me, and don't honestly know if I even know someone who would appreciate it.

I'm weird, though - I also don't have bumper stickers of any kind (including AAA) and never wear slogan t-shirts.
