Hi, Welcome to Dallas. The area you are in is very nice. We go to Dr Scott L Katz, at 15th and Coit. He always makes the list of Best Doctors in Dallas according to D magazine. However, since his practice is large, you may feel like you are treated like a number. The last time we saw him was about 2 yrs ago because we moved away from Plano. But, when we had appts, we did see him as opposed to an assistant.

I highly recommend you do your research concerning any vaccination- including the flu shot. I've never gotten the flu shot and have never gotten the flu. Despite popular (mistaken) opinion, the flu shot does more harm than good and is not good for your health. Email me if you want any references to read/DVD to watch.
Laura (comment below mine) is right on! Don't let everybody's opinions drown out the fact that you need to do your own hard-core research. Nobody cares about your health more than YOU.

Hi...again...I have a great pediatrician, too! She's in Medical City Dallas. I've been taking both my children to her for their entire lives, and would never switch doctors!

Dr. Masuma Kazemi @ ###-###-####

Yes...everyone in our family gets a flu shot....if you're interested in a general practice family clinic for thing like colds, and bumps & bruises, I have a good one that we've used for years.

Inova Family Health Clinic @ 972.769.844.

there are 4 or 5 doctors in there so you can walk in, or make an appointment...very convenient.

Good Luck,

S.

We use Dr. McElroy @ Presby Hospital (plano) on Parker! LOVE him! We are also new to this area, & his staff couldn't have been more helpful! They referred us to several other Doctors that we needed. They do flu shots for the kids & parents! :) Yes, my husband, myself, & our 3 yr old get one every year!

Dr. Laurie Berger, M.D is great Board Certified Pediatrician, she is a mom of two girls also. Her practice is in Presby Plano. As far as flu shot, I don't take that, I have great supplements that helps my immune system going strong and keeps me well in the worst of winter.

Best Wishes,
A.

We go to Dr. Bain in Frisco....she is wonderful and encourages natural/alternative remedies to limit antibiotics....

We do not get the flu shot; kids nor adults.

Flu shots contain thimerosal in them which is MERCURY! That is a neurotoxin. You can get them without mercury in them but it is hard to find. The Flu Mist that goes up the nose has the LIVE virus in it and is not one to get. If the person sneezes or blows their nose then the flu is spead airborne! My son is vaccine injured and now has autism. I research 5 hours a day for the last 7 years. If you want to see the contradictions of the CDC on shots then read this....The CDC "supposedly"(They actually did not!!!) took the thimerosal out of childrens vaccines because of the dangers and then put it in Flu shots. AND now they target pregnant woman and chidlren to get the flu shot. THAT MAKES NO SENSE!! There is a good book that helps with a safe schedule for vaccines. Its called The Vaccine Book by Dr. Sears. Or What DOctors Don't Tell You About Vaccined, by Stephanie Cave. You can look up on the CDC website for ingredients in these shots and be mortified that its going in your baby. I am NOT anti vaccine, but I DO KNOW that they are giving too many too soon. And we are victims of their greed.
Hope you listen !

My 6 year old has gone since birth to Dr. Allan Devilleneuve (Dr. D) at North Dallas Pediatrics in Plano on 15th street before Coit(near Medical Center of Plano). He is a wonderful pediatrician. Nice, caring, knowledgable. He was also my husband's, his siblings, and cousins pediatrician, so I had great referrals. He also works out of their Frisco office and Dallas Office (at Medical City Dallas) on various days. I would and have recommended him to friends. There are also several other pediatricians and nurse practitioners there as well that are all wonderful. They do give flu shots and we request one every year. I got my flu shot a few weeks ago at my OBGYN's office.
