My sons baptism is next month. Going to be a small party around 15 guests which include 3 boys ages 6, 3 & 2. They are my sons only cousins. I would like to get them a small gift and give it to them at the luncheon. Any ideas? Thanks!

What can I do next?

When we had my daughters baptism - all of her cousins got special ordered bibles - I tried to get each one a bible different from one another.
they arent very expensive and if taken care of they can be handed down to their children and then their grandchildren on their birthdays or baptisms etc....

My daughter received a little silver basket (and I mean little!) with some candies inside at her cousins baptism. Not very boyish, but they would like the candy.

What about Children's Bibles for all of them?
Or a nice ceramic cross to hang in their rooms?

It depends on your purpose of the gift - is it because you just want to give them something or is it to "remember" your son's baptism? If it is for a keepsake, then something like a Bible or a cross to put in their room at home is nice. However, it is a "thank you for coming" or "it is good to see you" gift then something more age appropriate and of current interest for each of them might be in order (if you don't see them often then check with the parents if Diego or Thomas the Train are their current LOVES). Someone suggested something to "keep them quiet during the baptism" - I recently got my daughter a Dora the Explorer book and magnet play set which was a big hit for a recent LONG plane trip (search Amazon for "Discover with Dora book & magnet playset) - at the bookstore where I got mine they also had Sponge Bob, Spiderman, and some others.

Good luck and many blessings with your new baby and his introduction to his Christian family.

peace,
Stacy

My first thought was a bible or cross but they probably have received such things at their own baptism. Maybe get them something to keep them busy during this lovely event (which will be boring for young children). We attended the baptism of my best friend's little one and they brought some fun toys, from the dollar bin (or $2.50 bin) at Target, for each child. They were a hit!
