Hi H.,
I got my daughter's Christmas dress last year at www.mygirldress.com. It does have mostly flower girl dresses, but many can be used as holiday or party dresses. They are beautiful and reasonally priced.
Good luck!

My 4 year old daughter is going to a daddy/daughter dance soon and I want to get her a cute formal dress to wear. I don't want anything that looks too "flowergirlish". Do any of you other moms out there have any suggestions for where I can find one besides Wooden Soldier?

Try Crew Cuts in Northpark Mall. It's by J. Crew and they have some beautiful little girl dresses. You could shop online first to save a trip. :)
I own a store that sells flower girl dresses, but a lot of them don't look very "flowergirlish". There is a brand called Lito that I carry. They have lots of great formal dresses (and tuxedos for boys). You can see them at .http://www.mayleesboutique.com
There's a place called Strausburg in Willowbend mall that might have what you're looking for. Also,Dillards, Macys, Nordstrom and JCPenney probably all have a "dressy" dresses, esp at this time of year.
There's a place in Denton called Small Fry that carries specialty/dressy clothing for kids.
Try Ebay and the consignment stores like Kid to Kid and Kidswap and cutie Patootie... I find tons of dressy clothes on Ebay... Good luck, A. J
