Giving Christmas Cards at a Family Party

My cousin and his wife are having an informal reception next week (they live in Florida and got married there a few months ago). I am looking to save myself a little money and wondered if it would be acceptable to give out my Christmas cards at the party instead of mailing them out. Any thoughts?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Yeah, I probably shouldn't give them out anyway. I just wanted to save a few dollars on postage and the annoyance of mailing out the cards.

Probably not the best idea. This is supposed to be THEIR day, not an opportunity to save a few bucks on postage! Wouldn't it be more fun to socialize and dance, rather than play postman? LOL

I would think that the party is for your cousin, and you are putting attention on you handing them out. I would pass.

I would have to say no on that one. I think you would come off looking kinda cheap and you wouldn't want that. Besides, they are so much more fun to get in the regular mail!
