Dear A.:
The natural foods section of Kroger has gluten-free breads and products in the refrigerated section. Also read your labels, many soups aren't thickened with wheat anymore and will say "gluten-free" on the label, the same with ketsup. Whole Foods is also another choice. They probably have the best selection.
If you need ideas for going out to dinner, Mexican can work well, with all the rice and bean dishes. You can also buy different kinds of non-wheat flour and make pizza crusts, muffins, et cetera, without wheat. They just tend to be a little crumbly, but taste great. There are many very good recipes if you search "gluten-free."
