Can anyone recommend a good pediatric dentist in the Carrollton area or surrounding areas?
I am really happy with Melissa Rozas in Coppell on Denton Tap. We have been going to her for about 13 years now...have 3 kids going there. Great staff, great atmosphere in office, and very caring/knowledgeable dentist.
The best pediatric dentist I have found is in Coppell/Lewisville. He is on the line. I have a daughter that I was told by a former dentist that she needed a root canal and crown. I took her to 2 other pediatric dentist in the area. They agreed and wanted to put her in a papus (straight jacket in my opinion) and would not allow me in the room when the procedure was being done. I took her and ran. She has had several fillings and never had problems. However, she does not warm up to men right away. She needs to be around them several times before she is copoerative. I told Dr. Reddys staff this information. They said....
1. He does not believe in using a papus.
2. He encourages parents to be in the room w/ kids.
3. He works 1 day a week at Childrens Hospital Dallas.
4. He has extra training to work w/ children w/ disabilities.
It sounded good. I was still worried about her reaction. They wanted to look at the tooth and fill it on the first day if that is all that it needed. I told them I did not think that she would let them. They said they would schedule the time and if it did not work, it would not be a problem.
Not only was she cooperative with him, he said she did not need a root canal or crown. He was able to fill the tooth on the first visit and my daughter gave him a hug before she left. He is GREAT!!!!!!

Well, the best pediatric Dentist in the state of Texas is in arlington/Mansfield. It would be a drive for you, but sooo worth it! His name is randy hamilton at ikids dental. I can't find the number but I urge you to go see him. They are all wonderful! Tell him H. and madisyn Guel sent you! Good luck.
