I second Amanda's recommendation of Dr. Shelton!! He and his staff are wonderful.

I use the Vet in Celina (5 miles north of you on Preston) and really like them.

I have used Dr. Shelton at the 380 West Animal Hospital for 10+ years (since before he was in his own practice!) They are fantastic. They are on the corner of 380 and Lake Forest.

Dr. Randall Hickman, Animal Medical Center in McKinney on Jordan. Worked at the Dallas Zoo 8 years before opening his practice. Very wise, affordable, and truly loves the animals. Over time we have had 5 animals he has "found" for us. Some have had medical conditions and some were abandoned, Dr. Hickman wanted to find them a good home and gave us a call. He also does volunteer vet work for the SPCA and Plano Living Materials Center. He cried with us when we had to put down our 21 year old Yorkie he had rescued and given to us 6 years before.
