Has anyone stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine? I was thinking of booking a weekend there during the summer for my kids birthdays?

I haven't stayed there, but a friend booked a suite for her 4-year-old and herself and invited us to join them for the day. (The suite came with 4 waterpark passes as part of a grand opening deal.) We had a great time! That place is amazing, lots of neat kid stuff, and I would absolutely recommend it.
I just got a brochure about the Great Wolf Lodge, and from what I have heard, it is a great place for children and adults. They have so many activities.www.greatwolflodge.com
There is the website to check it out.
Yes, we went the first week of Jan. and it is awesome! We had a blast. I have a 2 & 3 year old and they had a blast. There's also big water slides for the thrill seekers and the slides are so much fun. I recommend going on a weekday only because it is cheaper and there's not as many people. But if you are going in the summer, it's probably going to be busy anytime you go. I definately think it is a good time and well worth it. There is also a huge arcade you kids will love too. hope it works out for you.
I know 3 sets of people that have gone & said it's unbelievable.
I'm booking my own b-day party there next month. We'll have about 3 families enjoying the amenities. Whether young or old, it's for all. I have 2 yr. old twins but my dad is coming & he will be 80 next year. He'll swim!
Enjoy.
Our extended family stayed there in Jan and I absolutely loved it! There is so much for the kiddos to do. There were 5 adults and between us we had an infant, a 2 yr old, a 7 yr old and a 9 yr old. All had a blast! I loved that it was such a casual, family-friendly environment - it felt like we were part of a giant slumber party. I can't wait to go back ;-)
Great Wold Lodge is a great place to take your kids. The water park is awesome for any age and the one is Grapevine has one of the biggest water parks out of the three GWL's that I've been to. It is convenient to eat and entertain. Your wristband is your room key, entrance to the waterpark, and you can use it to pay for food from the snack bars, restaurants and even vending machines. The arcade is large and there are tons of other activities to do througout. It is a bit pricey but if you are doing for a birthday party it's probably not too much more than what you spend taking a dozen kiddos to bowl and eat pizza. Have fun!

have not stayed there but i also have a senior this year that goes to euless trinity and will also be going to texas tech in the fall
I have a friend who stayed there and she said it was really nice but the food was very expensive. They also have a game for kids built into the hotel where you can buy your kids a wand and they look for "clues" throughout the hotel but to play wa $30.00 a kid.
They did offer her $50.00 off her bill if she checked out early on Saturday.

We just stayed there last weekend. I would highly recommend it. It was my entire family, neices and nephews (2-6years), siblings and parents. We all had a great time. My husband, brother and brother-in-law had the most fun, I think. So, it would probably be a hit with your sons. The slides are great and the accomodations were wonderful too.
