My daughter whom is 21 is looking for a Hair Salon that is able to cut and style African American hair. It is imperative that they are able to cut hair extremely well from a photo . If you know of any in the area I would appreciate any info you could give.

I want to thank everyone for their help, it was really appreciated. She did get her hair cut, but it did not look anything like the picture. I will not say where she went. I do appreciate the responses now, at least now she has options.

If she is on a budget like me, she could go to Studio 10 on Fayetteville Street and ask for Iyana or Octavia (in that order). I have seen their work and they are awesome. If she is not on a budget, she can try Hair Estate and ask for Christina in downtown Durham (you may have to go during the week though)
Excuse my late response and I do realize that your daughter has already had her picture taken, but for future reference, there is a hair salon on Guess Road in Durham called Allure. Please ask for Nicole. She's good. I'm in the process of growing out my perm and going natural. She's doing a wonderful job with that.
Both my daughters (ages 16 and 12) and I (age 38) have been to Inflight Hair Salon on Main Street of downtown Durham. All of the stylists seem capable of meeting their clients' expectations - every client I have seen in their is smiling and relaxed. My daughters had their cut by Carolyn and Roszetta trimmed mine as we work to let it grow out into the style I want.
