Has Anyone Ever Sold Childrens Items Through Brand Name Consignments ?

Yes, I was a consignor for Brand Name Consignments at their last sale. I made over $200 and they paid me cash right after the sale when I picked up my items. It was great. The owners are two sisters who live in Lake county. One is an accountant so you know they're very diligent about the money. They were also very organized. I plan to be a consignor for their next sale in Nov at the new lake county fairgrounds. Repeat Street in Gurnee, a little south of the 132/Milwaulkee intersection would be close enough to make it worth your time.

I take my name brand/in good shape clothes in season (winter now) and they choose what they can resell. A lot of my winter clothes were taken and I plan on using it to buy more clothes or toys for my kids (or myself).

I'm not sure what you mean by brand name consignments but I have sold through several consignments shops in general. For children's clothing, I use Good Cents in downtown Geneva. I have very good luck selling there. She's extremely selective on what she chooses to sell of your items but you will sell everything she takes.

I second the store that L. T. recommended above. While I've never sold there, I've shopped there and found wonderful things for a very reasonable cost. They had a great selection of items you don't find everywhere. If it weren't so far away (Geneva), I'd be there all the time!
