I am wondering if anyone has a review on the deptford target portrait studio. I have an appt for my girls to get portraits taken but have never used them before. Can anyone who has used them please tell me if they received good photos and if they were good with the children. Overall-what you thought of them and if you would use them again.
Thank you

So What Happened?

Thank you for your responses. I had and appt for Saturday am with my 2 girls. I doubt I'll go back again. It was fun for them. I would step in every couple pics to fix a shirt or a clip. After they uploaded the pics, we picked out what we wanted. The guy kept moving the mouse and I couldt get a look. I finally said "can you please let me see the photos instead of rolling over them" I felt more comfortable at the picture people. They printed out the pics and brought them to a table and gave you time to pick what you wanted. I would have felt better at a table to look at my own pace than being hurried. But, they were good with the girls. My appt was at 9:40. There was someone waiting to see there pics, but no others, after we were done with photos, within 10 min, it was a madhouse with kids and parents. If anyone is using Target, get ask for the first appt of the day.
Thank you

Hi K.

Im M., also in Haddon Twp.
I got my kids done at Target in Deptford last August '07 & was disappointed. The girl was not engaging with my one year old, took horrible pics and was a little on the miserable side.

I also didn't know they were still film so I didn't get the
pics for 2 weeks. I picked just one shot & wasn't really happy with it. I only got it because it was a gift for my husband who was in Puerto Rico for work & I was flying to take it to him.

Perhaps they are better & have more creative photographers now. Not sure but if I had to go back to Target, I wouldn't.

Hi K.,

I have gotten pictures taken at that Target over 10 times and have been very satisfied with the pictures. The only complaint I have is the appt. times/waiting area. They overschedule the appts so numerous families with numerous children are waiting in a small area. My kids have lost it after 45 min of waiting. Otherwise, I like them....Just don't go at a busy time...I always ask ahead of time.

Good luck! Take care, A.

Hi K.,

I used them in Sept of last year. My son was only 3 months old then. I had a great experience there. I really liked the girl and picking out the portraits was fine. I then received a call that the main picture I chose couldn't be used. They couldn't tell me why, they just said that's what the company they used said, I think "technical difficulties". Anyway, I had to switch pictures and they did give me some extras. I thought the quality of the photos was good but haven't been back since. I didn't want that to happen again.

Hi K.,
I haven't personally, but my girlfriend has and her photos were absolutely stunning! They're reasonably priced so it's worth a try! There's no telling how the kids will act once they get there (if they're young) but the photos were top notch.

I know I am late responding.
I have been using Kiddie Kandids in Babies R Us for years and have nothing but good things to say. They are a little more expensive then WalMart (who I HATE) or Sears (ditto on the hate) but they take their time and you walk out with your pictures. I have never felt rushed there.
Now granted during the Christmas season, it is a little crazy there but other then that, it is great.

Oh and I always try to get the first appointment (no matter where I go..pictures, doctors etc..) They tend to be on time and less rushed! LOL
