Have You Hear About the Judge Demanding a Husband to Take His Wife for a Date?

My husband just walk in and told me he read about a judge ordering he guy to take his wife to a date:
Flowers and dinner to Red Lobster!
My first reaction was "Oh, so that is what it takes now in days? Because it has being month since I ask my husband to go to Red Lobster, I love oysters, he hates fish (any kind), not sure why I just don't go myself.
He looks at me and ask if I was serious, he thought I was joking because I always say: "You never take me to a fancy restaurant like Red Lobster!"
So, first of all, we barely go to any fancy restaurant, not because of him but because of me, I am very easy to please (lol) and I don't like big bills on barely there food, BUT I do like Red Lobster, so even if I joke about being "fancy" it is for us, and exactly what part of "I want to go" sounds like I am just joking?!
Anyway, what do you think about the judge order?
Would you go/need to ask a judge for it?
My husband is a nice husband and we go out to the movies every weekend, but I start to wonder if I need a court order to make him take me to Red Lobster, lol.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

There, my husband better send you flower because you just save him from the dog house (we don't have a dog but I should have a dog house anyway). I am not to mad "now" but yeah, they eat every day in restaurants, not always good ones but some times he calls me and tell me he just ate a $80 dinner (that the company pays, of course) while I just look at my messy kitchen and my plate of no so good $15 meal (for the 3 of us), lol.

EDIT: My husband didn't mention that part, to the dog house it is! Yes, that was kind of weird to send them to the dinner for what he did, I thought she just went for a divorce because he didn't took her anywhere. I can't trust my source anymore, grrrr!

I did read the article. It's actually a little...disturbing, maybe? I don't really know what the word is I am looking for. Apparently this man and his wife got into an argument and the guy shoved her against the couch and grabbed her neck. The judge deemed this as a "very minor" situation and ordered that the man get flowers, take her to Red Lobster and then take her bowling.

I guess I am going to have to assume the wife was in on the judgement, and relented saying that it wasn't a big deal. However, if my husband pushed me down and grabbed my neck, he wouldn't be taking me to Red Lobster, he would either be waking up from a coma, looking for a divorce attorney, or both.

Bahawaha! Y., you SLAY me!

But here's the thing. My guy (and yours) travels most weeks and eats more meals out in a restaurant than he does at home in any given week. PLUS, I'm a major foodie and LOVE to cook, so when I go out, I am often disappointed with the food, especially in a chain restaurant (like Red Lobster for example). So we'd BOTH rather hang out in our own kitchen drinking, talking and listening to music while I whip up something fabulous.

So gee wiz, he was JUST sharing a NEWS story with you! Damn, Y., I think you may have just PICKED A FIGHT GIRL!

Really, if you want him to take you out, just SAY so. Send him a text, I'm not cooking tonight, we're going to Red Lobster!

I think the judge should have stuck to standard procedure. He has no idea what really goes on in this marriage and he's playing with fire by making this kind of ruling. Shame on him.

Are you kidding me??!! Does anyone really want a judge telling us what to do? Keep the judges decisions to the letter of the law and not in someone elses business! That's what's wrong with the courts (judges) today, they keep forgetting to go by what is the law, and instead try to tell us how to run our personal lives.
